Eligibility Criteria for Engineering Courses

- All applicants must have received at least a 60 percent overall score on their XII science exam in order to be considered for a BE or B.Tech.
- All applicants for the B.Tech. Lateral Entry programme must have completed a three-year Diploma programme that has been approved by the technical examination board of any state and received a minimum overall grade of 45%.
- ME or M.Tech. – There are two requirements that must be met before applying for a ME/MTech degree, namely having an undergraduate degree and scoring well enough on the GATE admission exam.
- All candidates for the engineering diploma must have successfully passed their 10th grade or any other equivalency exam with a minimum score of thirty-five in all science and maths areas.

On October 4, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) officially announced that the UPSC ESE 2023 application form was closed. On September 14, 2022, the UPSC ESE application form 2023 was made available.

UPSC DAF 2023
Candidates that pass the preliminary exam fill out the Detailed Application Form (DAF). Candidates must first register before filling out the UPSC ESE Detailed Application Form. After completing all required fields, including name, roll number, email address, date of birth, and other information, candidates must click the “Submit” button.
The candidates’ specified email addresses receive information regarding the login credentials. Candidates must log in using their roll number and password, complete all six modules—personal, parental, educational, and employment—and upload any necessary supporting documentation before submitting their application.

UPSC ESE Exam 2023 Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the UPSC ESE based on educational requirements:
- must be an engineering graduate of a Central or State University, as well as any other recognized educational institutions that are considered to be Universities or UGC.
- a degree or diploma in engineering earned from a foreign university, college, or institution under the conditions that may occasionally be accepted by the government for this purpose, or
- passed the Graduate Membership Examination for the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India).
- passed the Aeronautical Society of India’s Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III/Sections A and B; or
- passed the Graduate Membership Examination of the London Chapter of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, which was administered after November 1959.
- Candidates for the Indian Radio Regulatory Service must hold a master’s degree in science (or its equivalent) with a specialization in wireless communication electronics, radio physics, or radio engineering, or a master’s degree in science with a concentration in radio communication, electronics, or telecommunications.
- Candidates for the Indian Naval Armament Service are required to hold an M.Sc. degree or its equivalent with a specialization in Wireless Communication Electronics, Radio Physics, or Radio Engineering.

Preliminary Exam Pattern
