Eligibility Criteria for Engineering Courses

- All applicants must have received at least a 60 percent overall score on their XII science exam in order to be considered for a BE or B.Tech.
- All applicants for the B.Tech. Lateral Entry programme must have completed a three-year Diploma programme that has been approved by the technical examination board of any state and received a minimum overall grade of 45%.
- ME or M.Tech. – There are two requirements that must be met before applying for a ME/MTech degree, namely having an undergraduate degree and scoring well enough on the GATE admission exam.
- All candidates for the engineering diploma must have successfully passed their 10th grade or any other equivalency exam with a minimum score of thirty-five in all science and maths areas.
Admission Process for Engineering Courses

Admission to B.Tech 2023

The annual online entrance exam for admission to the institution is administered by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (previously Manipal University). The Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK UGET) administers admissions into the engineering programmes offered by the Associations of Medical, Dental, and Engineering private colleges in the state of Karnataka (COMEDK). JEE Advanced 2023 (Eligibility Criteria)
- Scores for JEE Main 2023: Candidates should rank among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (across all categories) in the JEE (Main) 2023 BE/BTech Paper. It will shortly be known how many applicants will be accepted for JEE Advanced 2023, broken down by category.
- To qualify, applicants must have been born on or after October 1, 1997.. Candidates SC, ST, or PwD are permitted a five-year age relaxation; therefore, they must have been born on or after October 1, 1992.
- The JEE (Advanced) exam may be taken twice in two consecutive years by a single applicant.
- Examining in the Class XII (or comparable) grade: Students who graduated from high school in 2021 or 2023 are eligible to apply for the JEE Advanced 2023.
- This year’s exceptions to the requirement include:
Candidates who successfully enrolled for JEE (Advanced) 2021 and took their class 12th (or equivalent) exam for the first time in 2020 or 2021 but did not take any of the papers may apply for JEE Advanced 2023. Such candidates need not fulfil any additional criteria..

JEE Advanced 2023 (Application Process)
Only those applicants who place among the top 2.5 lakh JEE Main 2023 candidates are qualified to submit a JEE Advanced application. Only the official website is where you can access the application form, which is an online process.
- Each student must register on the official website in the first step by entering their JEE Main 2023 roll number, password, and security pin.
- The second phase requires students to fill up the JEE Advanced 2023 application form with their names, parents’ names, contact information, addresses, and other personal information in the appropriate areas.
