Eligibility Criteria for Engineering Courses

- All applicants must have received at least a 60 percent overall score on their XII science exam in order to be considered for a BE or B.Tech.
- All applicants for the B.Tech. Lateral Entry programme must have completed a three-year Diploma programme that has been approved by the technical examination board of any state and received a minimum overall grade of 45%.
- ME or M.Tech. – There are two requirements that must be met before applying for a ME/MTech degree, namely having an undergraduate degree and scoring well enough on the GATE admission exam.
- All candidates for the engineering diploma must have successfully passed their 10th grade or any other equivalency exam with a minimum score of thirty-five in all science and maths areas.
Admission Process for Engineering Courses

Admission to B.Tech 2023

The annual online entrance exam for admission to the institution is administered by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (previously Manipal University). BCECE 2023 (Application Process)

The authorities responsible for conducting the exam will release the BCECE LE 2023 application form soon on the official website- bceceboard.bihar.gov.in in online mode. Candidates wishing to apply for BCECE LE 2023 will have to complete the application procedure well before the last date. Check the steps given below to fill up the application form for BCECE LE 2023.
- Step 1- Registration: the first step in the application process is to register on the online portal of BCECE LE 2023. Candidates have to register on the portal by entering some basic information about the candidate such as phone number, email-id, etc. candidates have to fill in correct information as these details will be used to convey information about the exam.
- Step 2- Personal Information: the next step after completing registration is to fill in the personal details in the form, after filling in the details next step is to submit the form and save the details.
- Step 3- Upload Photo and Signature: the next step after filling in the personal details is to upload the recent photo and signature of the candidate, photo of the candidate must have a placard of name and date. The image should be 3.5 x 4.5 cm in size.
- Step 4- Educational Qualification: Candidates have to enter the educational details in this section.
- Step 5- Preview the application: In this step, candidates have to preview all the details entered by them before submitting it finally, students must assure that they have filled in the correct details in the form.
- Step 6- Fee Payment: The candidates have to pay the application fee in online mode or through bank challan.
- Step 7- Download the application form: the last step is to retain a printed copy of the application form.

Age Limit- there is no such age restriction for the exam.
Academic Qualification-
- Candidate must have passed the Diploma examination with a score of at least 45%-55% marks approximately(40% in case a student belongs to a reserved category) in the relevant branch of Engineering and Technology.
- Candidates must have a B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University with at least 45-50% marks approximately (40% in case a student belongs to a reserved category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as the main subject.
- Engineering Graphics/Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics from the First Year of the Engineering Programme must be passed by B.Sc. Stream students in addition to the Second Year subjects.
Citizenship-
It is necessary that The candidate must be a citizen of India, and also fulfil any one of the following requirements of citizenship
- The candidate’s parents are natives of some other place but are working and living in Bihar for some time.
- The candidate’s parents must be natives of Bihar.
- Those candidates whose parents are employees of the pre-partition Bihar Government and whose department has not yet been divided and are still working as its employee in the region of Bihar/Jharkhand.
- Parents of the candidates must be refugees who settled in Bihar and working in Bihar.
- Whose parents are employees of the Central Government and are located in Bihar?
- Whose parents are the employee of the Bihar State Government or PSU of the Indian Government
BCECE LE Para Medical Eligibility Criteria
Candidates willing to appear for the exam need to fulfil the eligibility criteria for appearing in the exam. We have mentioned the eligibility criteria for the session 2022:
Age Limit- candidates willing to apply must be 18 years old as of the date of December 2023.
Academic Qualification-
- Candidate must have two years of Para Medical Diploma course.
- Candidates who are yet to give exams for a second-year diploma are also eligible to take the exam but they have to present their diploma certificate for getting admission.
- Candidates can only apply and get admission in that course in which they have completed their diploma. If the college is not offering that particular course so you are not eligible to get admission to the course.
Citizenship-
The candidates must be citizens of India, and also fulfil any one of the following requirements of citizenship
- The candidate’s parents are natives of some other place but are working and living in Bihar for some time.
- The candidate’s parents must be natives of Bihar.
