What are the best MBA programmes in India?

In India, there are approximately 5,000 MBA colleges. One can select an MBA college based on their interest in a specific MBA specialisation, location, fees, infrastructure, placements, and entrance exam scores. Most top-ranked and Tier-1 MBA programmes are difficult to get into due to their stringent admissions criteria. They select the best of the best, so passing the CAT or GMAT with high marks is essential.

Admission to a Tier-2 or Tier-3 MBA programme, on the other hand, is much easier. Their admission cut-offs are lower than those of the IIMs, XLRI, MDI, SPJIMR, FMS, IMT, and other prestigious institutions. Check out the top MBA colleges by location and entrance exams in the section below:

Resolve IIFT Question Papers from Previous Years

In addition to studying the literature suggested for the IIFT exam, candidates should complete sample papers, previous years’ IIFT question papers, and as many mock exams as they can. Things to keep in mind regarding practice exams when preparing for the IIFT

  • You can get a sense of the types of questions asked in the exam and the number of questions from each unit by looking at previous IIFT question papers.
  • Before finishing the IIFT course, avoid solving a lot of IIFT test questions, sample papers, or mock exams.
  • Ensure that you evaluate your performance after each practice test. Your strengths and shortcomings will be shown by this.
  • Make an effort to finish at least 25–35 practice papers and mock exams. Focus on a range of example papers since this will expose you to all different types of questions, including difficult, simple, lengthy, and challenging ones.

IIFT Section-by-Section Preparation Advice

In order to adequately study for the IIFT 2023 exam, aspirants must give each area of the test, including the GK section, equal attention. Meeting the sectional cut off should be the first goal, followed by capitalizing on it.

Statistical Analysis

You must use time management skills as effectively as possible because this portion relies on calculations. In the QA section of the IIFT exam, you will encounter both difficult and simple questions. Find the simple questions, then try to finish before the sectional cutoff. Avoid getting marked down by not attempting questions you feel you can’t answer accurately with 100 percent. Concentrate on Algebra, Arithmetic, and Geometry while studying for the IIFT exam.

Using logic and data to interpret

The IIFT’s DI portion is notoriously difficult since the sets are so heavily dependent on calculation. The LR section, on the other hand, is simpler and more approachable. Learn how to use complex data circumstances, pie charts, bar graphs, data tables, line charts & combinations, arrangements, family trees, and more.

Verbal fluency and comprehension of text

While para-jumbles can be challenging, the Reading Comprehension component of the IIFT exam is often direct and factual. The vocabulary test is simple. To succeed in this part, thoroughly research Norman Lewis. Practice lengthy RCs in this portion of IIFT 2023 to prevent surprises

knowledge and awareness generally

The majority of the inquiries in this section concern foreign current affairs and business news. Do not attempt if you find the questions difficult because the cut-off for this area is still quite low. Don’t expose yourself to penalties. Refresh your memory on recent events, particularly in the business world. Do some static GK reading..

IIFT Exam Planning

Achieving sectional cut-offs in the IIFT test is crucial for GD/PI selection since the institute will take both the overall IIFT score and the sectional score into account when shortlisting the candidates. So, when taking the IIFT 2023 exam, make sure to answer just enough questions to reach the sectional cut-offf. Capitalize on it once you’ve met the sectional cutoff. The amount of time you should devote to each exam part must also be kept in mind. The recommended amount of time for each section of the IIFT 2023 exam is provided below.

IIFT Sections Suggested Time-Limit
Data Interpretation 20 minutes
General Knowledge & Awareness 10 minutes
Logical Reasoning 25 minutes
Quantitative Analysis 25 minutes
Reading Comprehension 20 minutes
