For Every Program: Phase II LPUNEST category slab, Group 1, LPUNEST score more than or equivalent to Category I cut-off, 55% of Program Fee

45% of the programme fee if the LPUNEST score is greater than or equal to the Category II cut-off.

More than or equal to the Category III cutoff on the LPUNEST, which is 35% of the programme fee.

Group 2: LPUNEST score at or above Category I cutoff; 55% of programme fee.

Depending on when an applicant registers with the university, LPU defines various admissions phases. The scholarship listed in the table above is for the initial round of admission. The scholarship may be reduced in a later stage of admission that is determined by the availability of seats.

All additional terms that are listed in Part B of the Prospectus-2022 under the heading “Terms and Conditions for LPU-Scholarship and its varied phases” will also be applicable.

4.Special scholarship programme for innovation, startup, entrepreneurship, and hackathon performance: LPU offers a special scholarship programme for innovation, startup, entrepreneurship, and hackathon performance. Students who wish to continue their pursuit of creative minds are eligible for this grant. The main goal of this award is to encourage students to pursue their goals.

Students will get scholarships depending on their performance over the preceding two years.

Students will be chosen based on their national and international accomplishments. The selecting committee will provide a final recommendation for the policy.

According to LPUNEST performance (PhD.)

Scholarship categories are determined by LPUNEST performance (PhD.) The results of each schedule will also include the cut-off for that category. The following table contains information on the scholarship:

Performance on the LPUNEST (PhD) with a score more than or equal to the Category I cut-off for programmes leading to a full-time doctorate 90% of the programme fee is the applicable scholarship percentage.

Scholarship Percentage Applicable for Part-Time PhD Programs: 70% of Program Fee.

70% of the programme fee is covered by scholarships for full-time PhD programmes with LPUNEST scores more than or equivalent to the Category II cut-off.

Scholarship Percentage Applicable for Part-Time PhD Programs: 50% of Program Fee.

50% of the programme fee may be covered by scholarships for full-time PhD programmes with LPUNEST scores more than or equal to the Category III cut-off.

Scholarship Percentage Applicable for Part-Time PhD Programs: 30% of Program Fee.

In order to qualify for the scholarship indicated above, candidates seeking test (LPUNEST (Ph.D.)) exemption on the basis of UGC (NET/ JRF), CSIR (NET/ JRF), ICAR (JRF/ SRF), SLET (Punjab only), Teacher Fellowship holder, or passed M.Phil. Program (in Regular mode only) may take the test.

Along with the results of the Ph.D. interview, the scholarship for Ph.D. applicants results will be announced.

Scholarship Brackets:

There are three scholarship brackets (Brackets 1, 2, and 3) that are defined for each category. Each bracket has specific requirements that must be satisfied in order to qualify for the appropriate scholarship. As a result, students in Brackets 1 and 2 receive considerably smaller scholarships than those in Brackets 1 and 2, respectively.

Scholarship Phases:

Admissions at LPU are handled through various Phases, which divide the admissions time period in half. The candidate’s admission phase and the scholarship amount are both factors in admission. (Phase-I) commences in January 2022 and lasts through the end of April 2022. Phases II, III, IV, and V are only undertaken if there are still open seats in the relevant program. Each phase’s scholarship amount decreases, and phase – V has no scholarship available (if conducted).
