ME or M.Tech. – There are two requirements that must be met before applying for a ME/MTech degree, namely having an undergraduate degree and scoring well enough on the GATE admission exam.
All candidates for the engineering diploma must have successfully passed their 10th grade or any other equivalency exam with a minimum score of thirty-five in all science and maths areas.

Engineering Courses and their Eligibility Criteria

Courses	Eligibility
BE/BTech	Candidates must have passed the Class 12 exam from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.
BE/BTech	They must also have secured minimum aggregate marks of 60 percent in the above subjects combined.
BTech Lateral Entry	Candidates must have passed a three-year Diploma granted by the Board of Technical Examination of a State Government, with a minimum of 45 percent aggregate marks or equivalent.
ME/MTech	Candidates who have completed their BE/BTech degree with a valid score in GATE are eligible for the ME/MTech degree course.
Diploma	Aspirants must have passed Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC)/tenth standard/equivalent examination, with at least 35 percent in Science and Maths subjects.

The annual online entrance exam for admission to the institution is administered by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (previously Manipal University). LPU NEST 2023 (Eligibility Criteria)

For B.TECH

It is a requirement that the candidate is an Indian national.
Candidates must have earned a grade of “C” or higher in class 12 or its equivalent from CBSE, CISCE, the State Board, or any other recognized board.
Subjects: The candidate must have completed their qualifying examination in Physics, Mathematics, and English.
Candidates must receive an overall grade of at least 60% to be eligible to take the exam.
Relaxation: Candidates from Sikkim, the Northeastern states, and the military will all receive a 5% relaxation, as well as the dependents of Kashmiri migrants.

For MBA

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an institution approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Marks: To pass the exam, a candidate must receive an overall score of at least 55%.
Candidates who have a scorecard from the MAT, CMAT, CAT, NMAT, or XAT are eligible for admission.
Candidates who are taking their final exam in 2023 are also able to apply for the exam.

LPU NEST 2023 Syllabus

The LPU NEST 2023 entrance exam does not have a set syllabus. It is advised that all applicants study material from the 11th and 12th-grade curricula.
General awareness, verbal ability, and reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical reasoning, and quantitative aptitude will all be covered in the MBA course syllabus.
The B.Tech curriculum will cover subjects like physics, math, chemistry, biology, aptitude, and English.

LPU NEST 2023 (Exam Pattern)

For B.TECH

Exam Mode: An online testing environment will be used for the exam.
The exam will take 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete.
The exam question paper will contain a total of 125 questions.
Questions: There will be multiple-choice questions on the test (MCQs).
Exams will only be administered in English as its medium.
Marking Procedure: There will be no deductible points for incorrect answers, and each correct response will receive 4 points.

For MBA

Exam Mode: An online testing environment will be used for the exam.
It will take 150 minutes to complete the exam.
There will be a total of 80 questions on the paper.
Questions: There will be multiple-choice questions on the test (MCQs).
Marking Procedure: There will be no deductible points for incorrect answers, and each correct response will receive 4 points.

LPUNEST 2023 Admit Card

A digital version of the LPU NEST admission card will be made available online. After successfully registering, candidates must reserve a slot in order to take the exam. The candidates can download the admission card to show up for the exam once the slot booking is complete.

The most crucial document to have with you on test day will be your admit card. Candidates won’t be permitted to take the test if they don’t have an admission card. For reference purposes and on the day of the exam, candidates must bring a printout of their admit card.

LPU NEST 2023 Results

The LPU NEST results for phases I and II will be released in the first week of June 2023 and the fourth week of July 2023, respectively. Each course’s results will be released separately on the university website.

Candidates must provide their registration information, including their registration number, password, and date of birth, to see the results. Candidates who pass the online exam will be invited to the counseling session, where they can select the course specialization they want to take.

LPUNEST 2023 Counselling

For those applicants who pass the test and qualify for counselling, LPU NEST will be organised. For the counselling procedure, calls will be made to the shortlisted candidates. Both the seat allocation and the counselling processes will be conducted entirely online.
