Is Degree from Distance Education Valid?

For eg; Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning (SCDL) accepts scores of management exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA, etc. On the other hand, NMIMS Global Access School for Continuing Education offers admission based on the eligibility criteria (Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any recognized university with 50% marks in aggregate along with two years work experience).
