Covid-19 undoubtedly is dominating us. Not even a single nation is unaffected by this Pandemic. Even one of the largest economies, USA is struggling to cope up with this Pandemic. While most Cities and States are facing Lockdowns. The most affected area from this Pandemic is Education. Online learning is trending these days. Students of 10th and 12th are urging to cancel their board exams, while it’s postponed for now.
Everything has come to a pause, except Covid-19!

Not even students up to 12th Grade are getting suffered but also Graduates /Post Graduates too. Here are some important updates issued by Delhi University coming up regarding Final Year Examination of UG/PG courses:-

DU Exams 2021: Exams Postponed

Capital University, DU has announced that the exams of final year students for UG and PG are going to be postpone
Keeping the ongoing situation of Covid-19 into consideration, exams that were supposed to be held on the 15th of May are now scheduled for the 1st of June 2021, by extending it for 15 days.

It is also announced that the exams are going to be conducted for final year students only, and will be conducted in an open-book format.

In the latest notice, DU announced that final exams are postponed and the date sheet of the examination is being withdrawn. Students are advised to get updates from the official DU Website, as the fresh dates will also get announced soon on it.

Delhi University Teachers Association (DUTA) had stated to the Vice-Chancellor, that neither students nor teachers are ready to conduct examinations. Many had even stated that Exams should be postponed as the number of Covid-19 cases are increasing massively.
Teachers and students are requesting to cancel the exams and requesting to find some other ways to evaluate marks.

DU SOL:

In DU School of open learning, student can pursue his/her UG and PG courses such as BA, B.com , M.A., M.com. etc. Students can apply for the admission on the basis of marks scored in their previous educational qualification. A Student has to submit related documents as list advised by DU Sol. List of required documents  can be checked on DU SOL official website.

DU assignments:

Delhi University SOL students, how to submit the assignments, student has to make the assignments on A-4 size sheets with the headlines of topic to get maximum marks and it will be prepared by neat and clean , during the submission on the portal students have to mention their Name, SOL roll no, Exams roll number , Subject name , every subject code, question number with answer number and give your signature on each assignment.


DU Exams registration:

DU Exams 2021 registration process for 4th, 6th, and 8th semester UG, PG has been extended till 7th of May 2021. However, modes and dates of examinations are yet to be announced by the University.

Due to a terrible rise in cases of Covid-19, Delhi University has decided to suspend online classes till May 16th, 2021.
“Because of the sudden surge in COVID-19 cases, the online teaching shall remain suspended till 16th May 2021 in the departments and colleges of the university, states the official notice.

In these situations is there any possibility to postpone exams beyond the 1st of June? Maybe not, because some students have already starting to get offers from various companies and even from foreign countries, and to accept that they do need the final results.

Under the same notice, it is announced that the date of the exams has been extended. It is hereby informed to all the students that the last date of filling up the examination form is extended up to 7th of May 2021 till 5 pm. Students will require to pay the examination fee on the link as mentioned by the faculty and the Department.
