Some common questions that candidates have in their mind while choosing an appropriate course from them are:

  • Should I go for a popular course?

  • What exams should I give for admission?
  • Which course will offer me a good career prospect?

All these questions are related to the same problem, i.e., the course selection after class 12th.

Given below are some pointers that a student can consider before choosing the best course for him/her.

1. Deciding the aim: you cannot select the best course for you until you don’t decide what your aim is in life. But it is not easy to select your aim in one day so you should check out all the options available which according to you can be your aim.

2. consider your interest: the most important thing is to consider your interest before anything because doing something for the sake of just doing will not yield results if you are not interested in that particular field. Be true to yourself when you are looking for your interests.

3. Shortlist top career options: after looking for your top interests shortlist 10-15 career options. You can also choose subjects which you haven’t studied in class 12th.

4. Shortlist again: shortlist again from the selected 10-15 career options selected by listing the pros and cons of the courses.

This process will help you to cut down your options to 4-5 career options, then you can easily figure out one best alternative, which you can pursue as a career option after class 12th.
