MA Streams:

There are various Streams and Fields available for the students to explore and learn about Art and Drama.
Student can Opt their field from Different languages (English, French, German, Hindi, Spanish, Chinese/ Mandarin, Greek, Latin), Economics, Political Science, History, Sociology, Rural Studies, Psychology, Geography, Philosophy, Literature, Social Work, Public Administration etc.

MA Admission Eligibility 2021:

A student who wants to pursue MA should be fluent in the language chosen as the main stream for M.A. and he/she should be hardworking, confident, a good writer, a keen observer, and should have constant learning mental ability.

Apart from academics, candidates must have completed their Bachelor’s from a recognized college/Institutions authorized by UGC. The candidate must have an aggregate score of 50 to 60%. In some universities, result of entrance exam serve as the basis to get admission while some of the universities conduct further rounds for the selection such as group discussions, personal interviews etc and rest are taking direct admission into the MA admission.

MA Admissions Process 2021:

Generally, admissions are based on entrance exams, while some universities still offers direct admissions. There are many entrance exams that a student need to clear before getting admission into an MA course. Such exams can be conducted at the national level, state level or at the university level. After the examinations admission is granted by the University on the basis of merit list.

While Universities like AMITY and AURO offers admissions directly without any entrance exams. They do take Personal Interviews where they check about the interests and perspective of the student regarding the course.

MA Admission Modes:

This course is available in all the three modes- Regular, Distance and Part-time.

Full-time or Regular MA offers a student to get full-fledged experience about the curriculum and gives appropriate exposure to the student.

Part-time MA, offers working candidates a great platform to learn from anytime anywhere. There’s no such specification to attend college for a student.

Distance Learning, students can learn from their comfort zones and working, being one of the most flexible courses, it is appropriate for the working-beings.

After the successful completion of a Master degree in  Arts , student can work in the both the sectors  private as well as government.
