To pursue the dream of Engineering from top Institutes, a student must cross two major hurdles on their way, JEE Mains and JEE Advanced.
This national-level exam is conducted under seven IITs and guidance of the Joint Admission on Board (JAB). This year JEE Advanced is likely to get conducted by IIT-Kharagpur on the 3rd Week Of June 2023.

NITs and IITs conduct JEE Mains, while JEE Advanced is conducted by IITs. Both exams are majorly interrelated to each other as one must clear JEE Mains exams first to appear in JEE Advanced.
JEE Advanced is far more challenging than JEE Mains as it not only includes the syllabus of 11th and 12th but also checks the analytical and problem-solving skills of a student.

JEE Mains has got postponed several times including April-May ones. However, Date for JEE Advanced is declared to be 3rd Week Of June 2023.

JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria and  Registration Process 2023

Registration for the exam will be done through online mode only. Basic eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced is here:

  • Candidate must have cleared JEE Mains and should be in the top 2.5 lakh rank. The criteria of at least having 75% in HSC, is being discontinued because of covid-19.
  • Students can register themselves on the official website with their JEE Mains 2023 roll number and can create a new password. Students can choose the city as per their comfort or can prefer their nearby location.

Registration fee for unreserved candidate is INR 2800 while for female candidates is INR 1400.

JEE Advanced 2023 Application Process

Applications are invited of JEE Advanced 2023 through Online Mode. Students are requested to provide their personal details such as Phone Numbers, Email Addresses, and Email Id.

Documents required for JEE Advanced 2023

Candidates will be asked for the following documents during registration:-

  1. Photo
  2. Class 12th Result.
  3. Class 10th Certificate.
  4. Caste Certificate.

JEE Advanced Cut off and Entrance 2023

The cut off is the minimum score an aspirant needs to score to get short-listed for counseling round. Cut off list is different and depends on categories. Being one of the toughest exams, this exam is very challenging for students.
The counseling process includes filling of choices, locking of choices followed by the validation, registration, allotment of seats.
