IIT Delhi, New Delhi

IIT Delhi is the prestigious institute in all 23 IITs created to become Centres of Excellence for instruction, study, and development in science, technology, and technology in India.

IIT Delhi Established as College of Engineering in 1961, the Institute was later announced as an Institution of National Importance under the ”Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 1963″. It was renamed as ”Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.” It was then accorded a Deemed University’s status having powers to decide its educational policy, conduct its assessments, and award its degrees.

Since its formation, over 48000 have graduated from IIT Delhi in various disciplines, including Engineering, Physical Sciences, Management, and Humanities and Social Sciences. of these, nearly 5070 obtained Ph.D. levels. The amount of pupils who collaborated with a BTech level is over 15738. The remainder received a Master’s Degree in Engineering, Sciences, and Business Administration. These alumni are working as scientists, technologists, company managers, and entrepreneurs. Several alumni have moved away from their initial areas and have obtained administrative agencies, active politics, or working in NGOs. In doing so, they’ve contributed significantly to building the nation and industrialization worldwide.
